after you have cut your selected paper with the die you will need to make 4 score lines and 4 small cuts as shown. Please notice the 2 optional score/fold lines, these are only needed if you want fold down flaps on the top of your box.

You will need to put 4 small pieces of double sided tape on the front side "tabs" you just created but cutting. You then fold up and attach the other side of the tape to the inside of the box.

You can punch small holes for a ribbon handle if you like just before taping the box together.

Promise once you have it in front of you it will make sense and is very easy to do.

The box is now ready to place a small treat inside of.

You can also put battery operated tea lights inside. Since these have to tall sides and 2 short sides just make 2 boxes and then nest one inside the other, with the sides rotated. Now you have a box with 4 tall sides and are ready to place your tea light inside.

NO REAL CANDLES PLEASE

In addition to being great party favors or table decor at a wedding I can just see a row of these on the mantle in Halloween colors or dangling from a christmas tree.

Hope you like and be sure to post pics if you give this a try. Your fellow RSC'ers would love to see what you make with this idea. Figure out a short cut or variation, we'd love to hear about that too.

Glad you like, please look at the die set before buying to make sure you can get your monies worth though. Honestly I really wish the die set came with some bigger ones, was very disappointed when I got it home. The largest size is still pretty small IMHO which is why I came up with this idea. I've had to push my creativity a bit to come up with ways to use it and get my monies worth.

Look at what you have already, I'll bet this basic "score 4 n cut 4" concept would work with other sets too. May take a bit of measuring which this didn't need but .....

A circle divided into thirds maybe.... for example
