That last idea makes the most sense to me. Sounds like something I would actually do but i could easily do it with so many other things. I guess so many of the tapes I have seen were not particularly appealing to my personal taste. Making my own might help but it still seems a waste of time. Other things I'd rather do like play on the threads.

Doesn't take too long with Miracle Tape which isn't expensive and maybe DeeDee will do one showing things to do with it. I think we have another video but think it's the same thing.

One advantage I can see to washi tape and making my own is to have matching tape to match DP and perhaps use the washi tape to make it look like hinges along the edge of a card or for underneath a sentiment. Another idea is to use it to make a frame in several different colors along the length and width of a card to give it a kind of line quilt effect. It would work well with leftover pieces of thinner cardstock.
