you can do the same thing with clear thick embossing powders...just add lots of powder layers...and then while your powder embossing is still hot and wet...you place your stamp on top of it and leave it thee for a few minutes until its cooled....when you release the stamp you have a very pretty embossed image in this great clear or colored embossng powder...i like gold alot and the darker blues and reds...really pretty

while working with crayons....the cheap child brand crayons...i just colored really dark all over the paper in any direction i wanted to leave a kind of pattern....on i did this on typing paper and reg. white cardstock...all worked the same...after i had laid all my think crayon hard pressed colors down...i thien put another sheet of typing paper over my art piece..then set my hot iron over the top of it and just ironed all the colors i could to get off...i lifted my typing paper and waaa-laaa, i had a beautiful sheeet of i dont know what kind of pretty colors i had...then i took my stazon ink and loaded up my stamp and stamped away...whooooo.so pretty...and not much effort...i hope you guys try it..i have done it on typing paper, cardstock, and white plastic...all had the same look

I'm sorry the links don't work anymore. You can see a couple of them in my gallery. The 2 titled REN are melted crayon background. And there's another one with a blue background with a long quote on it...."There is a vitality in you..."
