Default Wet Stencil Technique

Another super easy technique to create amazing backgrounds for your stamped art!

You will need a stencil (shown below), water mister, watercolor crayons, and watercolor paper.

-Mist stencil with water.
-Color the misted stencil with watercolor crayons. Be sure to color well around the edges of the cut-out design.
-Mist again.
-Lay a piece of watercolor paper on top of wet stencil. Roll a brayer over the paper so all areas touch the stencil.
-Let dry. Use as desired.

*Brass stencils are easy to use, but plastic ones work too.
*Try other types of paper.
*Use other coloring mediums instead of watercolor crayons.
*Use a can of soup if you don't have a brayer; or fingers to press the paper onto the stencil.

Have fun. Experiment. Show us what you do with the Wet Stencil Technique.
