This ATC was published in Vamp Stamp News last November (2010). It features my favorite pumpkin stamp from OnyxXpressions.

To make background: Blot alcohol inks and blending solution on glossy cardstock. Stamp image using black pigment ink directly on prepared background. Emboss with clear embossing powder. Layer on white cardstock, then black cardstock. Computer generate sentiment. Color regular staples with a black Sharpie marker. Let dry thoroughly. Staple sentiment to upper left corner.

Alcohol Ink/Hairspray Technique

You will need glossy cardstock, alcohol inks and hairspray.

I don't think aerosol will work. It must be able to puddle on the paper and stay wet for a little while.

1. Spray hairspray on glossy cardstock. Make sure the paper is wet.
2. Dot on one color of alcohol ink. Quickly swirl. (I used my finger.) Then add more colors of alcohol ink, swirling after each color.
3. You can stop here, or spray hairspray over the finished background another time to continue blending and adding more texture.
4. Let dry and use as desired.
