Scenic Stamp must haves???

When you mentioned making selective impressions, exactly how do you go about doing that? I've heard about using scotch tape or 3M sticky notes. What is your preference?

I haven't taught classes in a while but I've given demos at the local stamp stores --Stamping Details, and Stamp Addict.

I just ink up the part of the stamp that I want to use and make the impressions that way. It's easier to ink up a select portion of a stamp with a marker but if you're using a stamp pad, you can just ink up what you want and if there's any over-inking on to a portion that you don't want to make an impression, just wipe it off with a damp paper towel or the like. ~K
