Thanks so much, Diane/mylemontwist, for posting these instructions. They are very clear. I never knew the tip about painting the "medallion" with acrylic paint. Nice touch! Looking forward to seeing your sample.

Thanks for the great tut Diane !
I am going to play around with glue blobs soon ...lol
I do have one Q.. Does the acrylic paint still need to be wet/damp when you apply the perfect pearls?

I have seen this done with colored or metallic glue sticks too. No need to paint them. If you still wanted to use the metallic powders, apply watermark inks first.

Cannot show example yet but a recent project used foil to mold around a few objects, removed objects and then filled in with white glue...The plus, it holds it's shape and remains flexible! Useful when the project calls for a flexible treatment! (watch the steampunk file mailer results going to AQ) Very fun! Going postal today.

I let the paint dry completely, then did the perfect pearls.

This is where glue does not show but played a very important role in maintaining a shape for me and staying flexible to bend and allow itself to be adhered to a project!
This is the one scan that turned out of the project I recently did on a Slide Mailer. Just had a blast doing it in Steampunk Slide Mailer project.

Here is the ATC created by Diane/mylemontwist with the Glue Medallion Technique that she describes in Post 70 above.
