Nanc, I love the muted looks. Those would be so perfect for vintage style cards.

And I love your photo album Deb. What a wonderful looking family. It looks like you all have a lot of fun together.

Since we all want to learn as much as we can -- how did you add your color? Are they all on glossy cardstock?
Also, I see evidence of the Plastic Wrap Technique in the first example. If that is correct, what did you do to continue with this technique? Did you have to add more ink?
TY & Yes, it is nice to see that smiling face next to all your posts !

As for the BG's all were done on glossy cardstock, In each Ex. I applied the colors onto a craft sheet then spritz well w/ h2o. In the 1st pic, the plastic wrap wasn't planned it was the last one I did and didn't have anymore high spaces to leave it to dry, sooo I covered it with the plastic wrap. I was affraid the cats would get to the ice melt crystals. I like how it came out & I will try doing that in some different colors. I used a combo of Tattered angels rose, AI wild plum & walnut ink. 2nd pics colors are Tattered Angels blue, green, walnut ink & shimmer spray lilac. 3rd TA rose, TA blue(very sm amt) & walnut ink & last pic is lilac shimmer spray, walnut ink & TA rose.

I love the new ones you posted, they all look great.

Got a chance to play, here's an ATC made using the BG in photo 2, the fern & butterfly are Beeswax & the saying is from Scrollswork. Stamped with Colorbox Evergreen & embossed w/ clear EP.

This ATC was made from the BG in pic #3, The butterflies & saying are from
OnyxXpressions, unsure of who makes the black gems used to embellish the corner. This time I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedio Black.

Deb, sorry about all the postings today...just need to do em when I find the time...lol

Nanc, I particularly enjoy the butterfly card you posted. The salt background looks so wonderful. It adds just the right 'umpf' to the images.
