You are very welcome, Fab. I realized that I am a teacher at heart, with nowhere to teach...thus the tutorials. LOL
BTW, I added instructions for the Spray Starch technique. Hope you enjoy that one too.

Today I tried out the nail polish one and used the top of a food take-out box. It was fun but a few drops of the polish did not float. They sunk to the bottom and ate holes in the box. Then I had a leak. Then I found I had to clean nail polish off the counter. Lesson learned: Do not do this in styrofoam container anymore.

The acetone in the nail polish is what 'ate' through the styrofoam. That's an old Bill Nye lesson. I'm still waiting to try this one. ~C8>

Oh no, Fab! I will add something in the original Nail Polish instructions so no one else has that problem. I'm glad it was fun, but sorry for the mess! Can't wait to see what you make with your nail polish background.
I wonder if spray paint will eat through containers? Do you know Ann? If so I'll edit these instructions here in the Sumi technique.

I'm a big fan of alum foil pans...or pie tins for that reason...not sure of chemical reactions with foil but less costly clean ups. Or yard sale and find a cheap something for craft use only?

Deb, your card turned out really pretty. Thanks for sharing this technique with us. It is nice when you can reuse items that are laying around the house just sitting there.
