Guess what I found behind the toilet the other day?

Apparently somebody furry got bored & decided to play floor hockey in the bathroom with my Riding Hood Red Stampin' Spot after they absconded with it off my work area. Does getting the Spot behind the toilet in one shot count as a goal?

I don't think that would qualify as a 'hat trick' but couldn't we call it a 'pot shot'??? ~C8>

Absolutely! Of course, around here that would be a crack pot shot.

Hello, I use a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol, then get in the crevices with a retired old toothbrush. I don't think I have ever thrown a toothbrush out. I just use them to remove stains on laundry, in the bathroom, on crafts, and certainly with jewelry. Not using a toothbrush for cleaning would be like talking without my hands. No can do!

I must advise you that while the alcohol will take the ink off, if will also seriously dry out the rubber to the point of cracking & peeling and ruin your stamps! Try using a glycerine based soap or baby wipes without alcohol or shampoo if you don't want to use stamp cleaner, but please, for the sake of the investment in your rubber stamps, don't use alcohol anymore!

I use kosher soap on stamps at home. It has a coconut oil base and is also great for many food stains on laundry. I even use the same toothbrush for both jobs as the soap keeps the brush clean and ink free too. I guess other coconut oil soaps would work as well. I just got back from a shopping trip on a very rainy day and found the oversize tooth brush in Walgreen's that some recommended here earlier.

I already have a couple of old kid tooth brushes that I use, but I wonder how the denture brush I bought to use on the grout (& never have ) would work on stamps? The brush is larger than a toothbrush & the bristles are longer & stiffer in general plus there's a tuft of bristles cut to a brush point on the end for getting into those inbetween places that a regular tooth brush can't always reach. I'll have to give it a try and see!

The baby wipes should have no alcohol or lanolin!
