Once a year my stamping friend, Jean Heady-Spahr (who lives in Florida) comes to Dubuque, IA, and we look forward to a day of stamping together and showing each other something new we've learned since our last Get-Together. If you are in the area and would like to join us, we'd love to have you join us and share what you've been learning!

This year Jean will teach us the Tin Can Alley Technique (featuring embossed aluminum cans) and will bring all the materials for us to do a Make & Take.

I'm still thinking about what Technique I'll share for my Make & Take.

How about you? Can you join us?

Guest List/Make & Take

Marian, will this date work for you? What would you like to share for your Make & Take?

i would love to come but not sure whats going on that day/weekend. if i could find someone else from wis to share the trip with that would be cool, don't mark me down just yet. I usually yell Road Trip! a lot and offer to drive cuz I have the Tahoe If you were in Hawaii I would have yelled it to

you are a mere 7 hours away from me, and we used to drive to des moines and denver every year for stamp shows when we were doing them, so for me its a trip i "could" do. I must have inherited the travel bug from Mom, she is here having driven to Wisconsin from Oregon, 2200 miles by herself!

OK, makes total sense. Friends are welcome. Jean is bringing a friend, and Marian mentioned that her daughter MIGHT like to come.

My step-son, Steve, who was a NASCAR jackman from 1989 unitl his death in 2006, always said,"A road trip is good for the soul", and he was right. I'm leaving Tuesday to drive 1500+ miles from Southwest Florida to Monticello, Iowa. I'm so anxious to see 'old' friends; make new ones and learn from talented stampers. Can't wait and hope more of you can attend. Best wishes & best stamping, Jean
