What's your favorite reinker tip/technique?
My order for reinkers just came in today's mail. Now I'm looking for tips and techniques for using these lovelies.

I'd love to hear what your favorite tip/technique is!

A few off the top of my head:

Color with them like watercolors, just place a drop on a plate or other non-pourous surface. Now grab a paintbrush and have fun.

Mix with gel medium for textured paint effects

Mix colors together to make new colors

put a small bit of glyceryn and reinker on a cotton ball then swirl, dab and smash onto cs for an alcohol like effect. The glyceryn lets the "ink" move around and if you want a lighter color dampen the cotton ball first.

color plain ribbon so it will match the ink and/or background of your card
You'll be sure to let us know what you think of your new reinkers?

Never heard of using glyceryn with it before. Where do you buy it?

Stacy - what do you mean by gel medium? It that like gesso?

Gel medium is like acrylic paint with no color in it. You buy it where the tube acrylic paint is sold at J or M stores or Aaron Bros. or Hobby Lobby. You would be sort of making your own paint in the DI colors.

Now that's an interesting thought. I'll have to keep a look out for that stuff. Thanks Fab!

There are several different mediums available to use. There is an irridescent one too.

The shaving cream technique can be messy but fun:

Make your own spritzer spray with rubbing alcohol and reinker in a spray bottle.
