Organization Class

Not exactly sure how or why I received this e-mail, but the timing is perfect for me. A FREE online class on organizing one's stamping supplies is being offered on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 @ 10:00 PST. Here's the link:

You can bet your stamping budget that I'll be watching it! My Stamping Guardian Angel must be who sent the e-mail, d'ya think?

TheAfricanQueen 03-26-2016 01:11 PM

Looks like she is offering a recorded version after the live class. I may be able to do that.

Don 03-26-2016 01:12 PM

Organization is for those who are too darn lazy to look for stuff.

TheAfricanQueen 03-26-2016 01:16 PM

I must be on the super lazy list. Time spent looking for stuff means less time creating!

Wait 'til you see how much time the organization takes.

TheAfricanQueen 03-26-2016 06:55 PM

Not so bad if I keep up on it. And even if I don't, I'm still ahead of the game.

fab 03-27-2016 11:55 AM

I think it is mostly about using the various containers she sells.

Don 03-27-2016 07:15 PM

Tiff is cute, and she's my friend.

fab 03-28-2016 10:36 AM

Glad to hear that you have friends.

TheAfricanQueen 03-28-2016 04:48 PM

Don has friends here too. Me, me, me!

fab 03-28-2016 07:24 PM

I think Don has lots of friends here as do the rest of us.

Renee 03-29-2016 08:07 AM

Super glad to have lots of friends here on RSC!

TheAfricanQueen 03-29-2016 10:17 AM

I'm happy we all have friends here.

Is anyone else plan on attending this seminar?

Renee 03-29-2016 12:19 PM

I tried to watch this event, but my computer kept freezing up and when it at last refreshed I had missed a bunch of it. It only lasted an hour. I did get a couple of tips for storing some stuff.

Of course all the storage tips used fancy, matching containers that are sold at totally-tiffany.com, and while they all look great, my budget doesn't include them. Realistically, my personal style is more eclectic. Instead I'll try and incorporate things I already own, like my extensive collection of Longaberger baskets. Other containers can be obtained at "fancy" places like Target, Wal-mart, JoAnn's, Michael's, etc.

I am signed up for a couple of weekly classes offered on-line, so hope to continue to get tips & ideas from those. I do love to get tips from friends who have ideas that work well for them. Don't be surprised to see questions from me posted here, at some point!

Here's another friend, Lindsay Weirich.

I have seen quite a number of her videos. She makes crafting fun.

TheAfricanQueen 03-29-2016 10:54 PM

She's got more ideas than I can shake a stick at!

Susanlhl 03-29-2016 11:11 PM

Thank you so much for the report on the seminar, Renee. Now I am glad I didn't get up at 3am to watch it. Organisation is one of those things that have to be continually reviewed for me.

Don, I know about Lindsay Weirich too. She's very helpful.

TheAfricanQueen 03-29-2016 11:14 PM

I'm so behind the times! Here I thought the seminar was next week!

fab 03-30-2016 10:38 AM

There may well be another one next week. I have seen her series posted in the past.

TheAfricanQueen 03-30-2016 11:32 AM

Ideas
Bit by bit
Piece by piece
Will help me
So much
Not to say
SHEESH!

fab 03-30-2016 12:44 PM

Well, would you report here on the ideas you think will help you. My best thought is I need to purge!

Don 03-30-2016 01:40 PM

Tiffany has youtube videos. https://www.youtube.com/user/ScrapRackLady

TheAfricanQueen 03-30-2016 01:56 PM

I need to purge again too, Fab.

fab 03-30-2016 02:50 PM

Don, thanks for that link. I thought these videos had been done before.

TheAfricanQueen 03-30-2016 04:36 PM

Good to know that there's help for those of us who need it.

fab 03-30-2016 07:08 PM

There is always help. We just have to know where to look for it........lol

TheAfricanQueen 03-30-2016 07:19 PM

Ain't that the truth! :applause:

fab 03-30-2016 08:30 PM

We sometimes have to do a lot of hunting to find it.

TheAfricanQueen 03-30-2016 11:11 PM

Sometimes it takes someone knew to the craft in order for what we need to be brought to the light. Remember the days before Tim Holtz?

Susanlhl 03-31-2016 01:09 AM

I'm bookmarking those videos too. Thanks, Don.

fab 03-31-2016 10:06 AM

Yes, I remember but would rather not. In those you had simple choices like dye ink or pigment ink.
