LOL...I love the name too!

Thanks for the 'how-to'. Acrylic sheets, acrylic stores...who knew?

You do not want acrylic. Use polycarbonate instead. Acrylic will break and you can't use harsh chemicals to clean it. You can tell the difference by looking at the edges; acrylics are clear and polycarbonates are cloudy.
Tap Plastics has stores in WA, OR, and CA, and on line. I would bet there are other plastics stores around the country.

I was strongly encouraged to purchase the MISTI by dh. He pointed out that it would help with stamping more smoothly and precisely, since the MS (aka the MonSter) affects my hand strength so much. It appears to be a quality tool, and is an investment in my hobby/obsession. Granted, (IMHO), this was while we were on a Date Night and he was enjoying his 3rd margarita! Also, he had recently added a rather pricey item to his hobby of building models.

Live Long and Prosper, all my RSC friends!

Well, then you will have to 'take one for the team' and buy the MISTI to assuage his guilt and make him feel better. Margaritas can only do so much.

Renee
I have used my friend's Misti & loved it. I only found 1 drawback, the magnets are super powerful & may be challenging to use considering your MonSter. My friend said that if 2 magnets stick together that she has to push them apart using the edge of a kitchen counter.

I agree, Renee, those magnets WILL stick together and are very difficult to separate. The paper will slide from under them so I am switching to post it notes, the tiny square ones. Besides, there are times the magnets get in the way and it's hard to explain but I frequently end up putting them on the outer perimeter of the paper and that is when they slide the most.

Get the MISTI but don't worry about the magnets....just use the tiny square post-it notes.
