Default Glittered Mod Podge: Thinking Christmas cards here!

Tired of glitter coming off from your carefully made Christmas cards or any project for that matter? This may be the answer to your challenge:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt79-N5PHZY

I've two projects I'm valiantly trying to finish up and then I'll be moving onto making Christmas cards. I'll be posting here what I come up with.

Here's hoping you will feel free to post yours as well!

What a great technique, AQ! I'm going to make a thank-you card for the 8-year-old neighbor girl, and she'll love some glitter on it!

The card is done, and I'm going to try to get a pic loaded in the next couple of days. It's not perfect, which just proves it was homemade! Stirred up too much of the Mod Podge glitter mix, and it was a little too thick. Ended up applying it with a toothpick, rather than a paintbrush. Note to self: Don't pour Mod Podge into the well. A LOT poured out, which would be great if you're going to need quite a bit of the glitter paint. Since I didn't, I ended up throwing the extra away, which was a shame.

Mod Podge and Gesso are 2 items you can score big on at Mike's, Jo's & the Lobby. I clip the coupons and go to the store, only to find everything is on sale so the coupons are useless. Now I go over to the art section where nothing is on sale. That's where the Mod Podge, Gesso and foam brushs are. I buy the large sizes. If you see Elmer's glue at a garage sale ... you want that.

I'm not exactly sure how to post the pic of my card, but here's the link to the card on my Splitcoast Stampers gallery: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=258440
