Default Small drawer solution

I have a small plastic 5-drawer Rubbermaid unit that I use for different types of pens and markers. I like it that the drawers easily pull out to put on my work surface when I'm doing a project. However, when I went to add another unit, I found that Rubbermaid doesn't make that one anymore, so I bought Sterilite instead. They stack nicely and hold all my brads, bling, and other small ephemera, but because they can't be pulled out of the frame without sqeezing the sides inward, they were frustrating to use. I finally took my wire cutters and snipped off the stop tabs on either side all 17 the Serilite drawers, and now they come free of the frame easily. It's just a small thing, but it makes retrieving items so much easier.

That little thing can make or break it when it comes to me crafting. Happy to hear, Lady Kestrel, that you used your ingenuity to find a solution!

Heh. My hands were a bit sore the next day because it took some force to snap the plastic, but it has already made pulling out items so much easier.

I love those types of containers! I am searching now for some in which to store my pens!
