What can I say, free organizational tools are the best!! More $$ to spend on stamps, paper, ink, etc.....

I cleaned a lot of pics off my computer or I'd upload one of what I'm talking about.

That looks so practical. Stacy. It made me think of adding a few paper rolls to my pencil bin to keep the colours sorted. I shall have to try it!

I LOVE having my pencils sorted by colors! I can't take credit for the TP tube idea though, I got it from the Carol Duvall show.

To help prevent lead breakage when the pencils are "dropped" back into what ever container you use, try a piece of thin craft foam cut to size in the bottom. Pieces and Pom came up with that idea a while back. It's still cheap to do and may save you $$$$$ on pencil replacements.

I keep telling myself I'm going to decorate the tubes and then glue them together but still haven't gotten around to it they do tend to rise up some as you take pencils in and out. My be once DS leaves for collage this fall?!?....

Great idea, Stacy. ROY G BIV would work well. My mind kind of works like that with organising things

Stacy, I know a gal who keeps her Prisma's just like that....only she used PVC pipe.
And I think she mounted hers on a carosel thingie.

PVC would probably be heavy enough to keep the tubes in place, although the carosel would be distracting. I'd be tempted to spend my time spinning it round and round while I watch the colors swirl before me, lol

I'm not sure if I have said this already but small those plastic hangers neck scarves, ties or belts come on are great for ribbon storage/display. Just drape them on and then hang from a small hook or in my case off the edge of metal shelving.

The best investment I made was getting the Pampered Chef carousel for kitchen stuff. My Copics and Prismacolor pencils reside together so I never have to figure out what goes with what.

And, yes, Stacy, it looks like a work of color art all by itself!
