Default beeswax email????

I got 2 emails from Beeswax today, one from Sonja? and another one after that that had "email alert" in the bi-line. I opted to not open either one, did anyone else get those emails.

Did I just delete something important?

The first one was a spam email because my Yahoo account got hacked. The second one was me warning you that I got hacked and not to open the links in the first email. It was bound to happen sooner or later. This was also just to Beeswax customers on my email list and had nothing to do with RSC.

It pays to be sceptical . I knew it was probably for your customer list but this was the best way to find out what was going on and I figured a lot of your customers lurk here as well. Thanks for letting me know, aren't the hackers a pain. Glad I didn't open them up. they seem to be working overtime lately, my software blocked 2 Trojans the other night at the Natl Geo site.

I hope you have better luck getting the account cleaned up than I did. I had to abandon one Yahoo account all together because of spam and Yahoo did not help me at all. Told me outright that it was my problem not theirs.

BTW, for all those Beeswax customers that are lurking, we would love to have you post a hello and start chatting with us.

Yeah, it made me mad. I've never been hacked before. I had a customer tell me she belonged to another Yahoo Group and got the same spam email from that one too. I just did a search and there are a bunch of free programs to hack Yahoo Groups...lovely.

Oh great... after so many years of avoiding Yahoo, I just joined a group there literally minutes ago. Now I'm worried. Sigh.

There's nothing to worry about. You can't get anything from opening up an email. Just don't click on any links if it looks like spam. This was pretty obviously spam. It was something along the lines of "5G of free storage" or some such crap.

I've completely abandoned 2 free yahoo accounts so far because of the spammers/frauds, etc. I even started getting the "somebody left you money all you have to do is fill out these forms at the "IRS" and send us payment down here in the Carribean. Yeah right.

At least my hotmail system is starting to send most of that, along with the Viagra ads, directly to the junk folder.

I got a message from a friend this morning to not open the links in her prior email as she had been hacked. Had nothing to do with Yahoo.
