What a raft of great ideas for cheap glue! Long ago I used white glue mixed with ordinary pan water color paint to make a paint to use on dry embossed images. If you did a small area at time you can sprinkle ultra-fine glitter on it and set aside to dry. Lovely on gift tags and small note cards.

That sort of paste also attracted small bugs. Maybe that's why we don't use a lot of it anymore.
