Default November Sketch Challenge from Beeswax

Guess I get to fill in for this month. I have a sketch for you but no sample yet. Two prizes will be given away by random drawing. Grand Prize will be a $30 gift certificate to Beeswax and the First Prize will be a $20 gift certificate. If the winner used all Beeswax stamps I'll add another $5 on to their gift certificate....let's make it an additional $10!

To upload a card hosted off site (like your own website, Photobucket or Imagshack) simply click on the insert image icon while composing your post (looks like a little yellow postcard) and paste the URL in the box that pops up.

To include a picture or scanned artwork in your post:
When you Reply to a thread, scroll down past the box you type your reply in until you see Attach Files and click on Manage Attachments. That will bring up a pop up window where you can upload from your computer. Click on Browse and find the image to upload on your computer, double click on the file and then click on Upload. This will automatically put that file in your post for you.

Create a card similar to the layout I've provided below and display it in this thread to enter.

Okay, here's my Beeswax inspired Sketch Challenge card. All the stamps are from Beeswax; the background is patterend rice paper. I really stretched myself using green and salmon for colors...I'm usually a blue and beige kind of girl. lol

I really like the balance and your color choices. Good to stretch one's favorite colors once in a while, and this is proof solid!

Beautiful card! Those colors are lovely with this sketch and the images you selected. If this was in the gallery I would be pushing the #10 button! You sure rocked this one!

Andrea,

Gorgeous card. The colors are perfect for the oriental theme. I love your blending around the edges. Do you give lessons?

Thanks to everyone for their kind words, and Jeanette...no, but thank you for the thought! The edges are just stippled with coordinating colors of dye inks (in this case, Adirondack Lettuce and Marvy Matchables Pink) using EVO big blue brushes.

Cindy...thanks for reminding me....I need to upload the scan to the Challenge section of the gallery. I keep forgetting that!
