Default EZ Oval Punch Pumpkin

Perhaps some or most of you already know this technique, but I didn't and thought it might be of interest for those making Thanksgiving or autumn cards.

Punch out 3 equal sized ovals. Lay down two ovals, side by side, so they just slightly overlap in the middle. Then center the third oval on top of the other two. When you like how they look, glue them together to make a pumpkin. Create a stem bit freehand (even I with two thumbs managed that!) and glue it behind the pumpkin so it shows at the top. I quickly made a bunch out of print and solid papers which you could mix or match. You could stamp a vine or some flourishes on a card and glue the pumpkin in an appropriate place.

Folks with a diecutter might even create a flourish design to use as the vine and some punchy leaves.

You're welcome, everyone. A friend showed the trick to me on Sunday and I was just smitten with how easy and effective it was and most of us stampers have an oval punch. Hope everyone has a fun Halloween; I haven't bought my candy treats yet... too tempting to eat them myself.
