Hi!
On the Cuttlebug thread we are discussing embossing. I have included several links for the more popular machine right now on how to emboss with your electronic machines.
I want to add some notes. Most of these machines can only emboss vellum, thin cardstock and metal. The Black Cat cutter is the exception to this rule since it can do leather. The higher gram per pressure KNK machines also can emboss heavier materials.
Silhouette & the Slice also can emboss. Slice carries it's own jigs. Due to the low pressure of these machines the results are not very good. Higher pressure machine deeper emboss. That's why the more expensive machines give better results.
I forgot to add that the higher pressure machines such as KNK and Black Cat Cougar can emboss glass. These are the machines in the 800 gsm range.
You will never get CB embosing type look with these machines since it's hard to recreate many of the folders and would be time consuming. So more die cut aficiandos don't try.
Here are some tuts in no particular order of machines. I just wrote it down randomly when I was going through the machine list in my mind.
