Default Rubber Stamps of America

Does anyone have the inside scoop on what happened/is happening to Rubber Stamps of America? Will the line be sold or continued in any way? Another great resource possibly gone. - Yiker

I googled it & went to a storefront, but it was under construction. I did find a company that is selling some of there stamps here: http://www.stampdiva.com/rubstamofam.html

Good luck, I'm sure someone else will probably have more info for you.

You need to buy, buy, buy from those of us in business so we don't have to close our doors too! It's your patriotic and rubber duty!

Yes, Stampo, of COURSE we should buy from those in business - especially those who advertise in RSM! Ha. We're all supporting each other in this great rubber stamping industry. I had a customer who is looking for particular images ask if I knew what happened to Rubber Stamps of America and the RSM trail turned cold so I thought I'd see if anyone here had the "inside skinny". Some companies just fade away...

Thanks, Amy. I'll add this to my resource list. I don't think the person with the inquiry wanted Ken Brown images, but it's a good lead for others and I'll pass on the information to her just in case!

I re-read the e-mail, and specifically she writes: I am looking for a tomato slice stamp. Rubber Stamps of America 1998 catalog has a tomato stamp #221.

Perhaps I should re-ask the question: who else has a tomato slice image?

I posed your question about rubber stamps of America and a tomato slice image at a yahoo group and just got this back:

Quote:
Hey guys! I put an appeal out over at Midwest Stampers and they gave me this site:

http://www.merchantcircle.com/busine...a.603-563-8100

It appears they have a storefront so maybe you can call and ask about the tomato slice stamp. Hugs,

Ruthie
Has anyone tried calling? I have not checked it out myself but hope this lead to somewhere and helps, feel free to pm me if you need anything else.

btw, several have been checking out sites and have not found other tomato slice images.

Thank you, Stacy. I knew this was the place to come to get results! I'll pass your website and comments on to our reader and let them do the follow up. I'll add it to my list as well, although this week we are really booked for time, as we are packing up the office. A little "cat out of the bag" comment in this obscure thread - RubberStampMadness is moving. We're only going 1 block east, and the mailing address and all contact information will stay the same. It's a "sunnier" office (our 2nd floor office currently has no windows) and a bit smaller, so we are down-sizing as we pack. RSM is planning to continue on into the future and this move is another step in that direction.
