Crystal, I love the pen stitching trim you did and the bright cheerful colors.

Yogi, thanks for always providing the back-up story on your blog. It helps us to understand how you do some of thes fabulous textures and colorations. Beautiful card!

Thanks for posting your submission, and complimenting the sketch. We have to thank Debi Wind for that design.

I love how colorful and whimsical your entry is!

Lovely sketch, and I love Onyx Oriental stamps. They just lend themselves so beautifully to watercolor techniques.
Hi, Yogi ~ Beautiful job on your entry. I love how you used the watercolors for such a soft look.

I'm curious... in your blog description you said you "clear embossed everthing." How'd you do that? Did you run an embossing pen over the whole image first? Or run an embossing pad over the whole panel?

Nice job!

~Cheryl

Hi Cheryl
Thnaks for the nice comment on my entry.
After the watercoloring was dried, I restamped the image using the Vintage Sepia Versafine pad on just the edges of the floral design, the border and the Kanji word, these were the elements that got clear embossed. Hope this answers the question

Just do your own thing. This is more about the sharing than the competition. Make your own music.
