Default Reinkers & Gesso

Recently, I bought half a dozen reinkers. While I was waiting for my order to arrive, I came across this tutorial and then my order arrived a couple of days later. You all know what that means:

PLAY TIME

In the video, Ashley uses quite a bit of gesso to mix with her reinkers. I'm not that brave and thankfully so. If you look carefully at my color palette, you will notice that the bottom middle well looks kind of green. It should have been Scattered Straw yellow. Since yours truly didn't clean out the palette the last time she used it, the remaining color, albeit dried, came alive again! Who would have thunk it?!

The colors in the palette are from left to right, top: Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold. The bottom left is Scattered Straw. (Each well contains approximately 2 Tbsp of Gesso along with a full dropper of ink):
