I was successful in making my own glimmer mist! Yesterday I went to my friend's Carol's place with another friend, Mary. We tried four different techniques with my reinkers. The four techniques we used were polished stone, ribbon/flower dye, custom half pearls and pretty cardstock background. I guess we really did five techniques including the glimmer mist in which I used a mini mister with a delution of Crystal Lacquer and then added some Pearl Ex powder. Here are my results:

Crystal lacquer hardens. Did it clog the mister? What did you use to dilute it?

It's true. Crystal Lacquer hardens when it comes into contact with air. I used water to dilute the CL and I used more water than CL. The initial spray was better than the subsequent ones. I'm uncertain if it was the CL that was clogging the mister or the Pearl Ex.

Both have the potential. Were you able to completely clean out the sprayer? Or is it a victim of the experiment?

I haven't touched the sprayer since I got home yesterday so I've no idea what the outcome is. I'm thinking I could probably use nail polish remover if necessary.
