Default Xyron 1.5 Question

I bought one of those little personal Xyron machines that look like an X.

Does anyone here know if there is some sort of trick in not wasting an inch or sticker tape before and/or after putting in the item desired?

TIA

Just have as many things ready to run through as you can figure you'll use. Put them through very close to each other. You'll still lose some at the end, but not as bad as putting one item through at a time.

Before you peel the two pieces apart I usually run my ball stylus around the shape of the item I ran through...helps get rid of any sticky goobers hanging around the edges...

Oh yes I miss it already. In fact, when I was at Scrapper's Edge in Eureka, I asked the lady there about it. I've got an e-mail into Xyron asking them about it as well. I won't lay this to rest THAT easily or my screen name ain't TheAfricanQueen.
