I can't resist those Penny Black hedgehogs, GameGirl, and the ATC was inspired by my grandmother, who always had gorgeous African violets on the windowsill in her kitchen.

I always associate African Violets with grandmother too. Wonder why that is?

I had some, but they are a bit fussy. They like partial sun and moist soil, but not too moist. My house just doesn't have the right spot for them.

I had African violets for years...then suddenly a fungus destroyed them all in 3 days.... heart breaking.
