Stacy.... I believe you are exactly correct. There have been posts by just a few people who never contribute to content on RSChat, but simply post links to their website which offers a tutorial, and then a shopping option. So, they post, but don't contribute to anything else at RSC -- thus, are looking for freebie advertising. Paying vendors to RSChat, I believe, feel cheated when this happens.

If there's a tutorial, post it here... don't just provide a link to go somewhere else for the tutorial...

Stacy has it right. There were only two people that were doing exactly what Stacy described and they have been PM'd about it. No one else need worry.

I have followed some of those links to off site tutorials and enjoyed the tutes. I feel no compulsion so buy anything but I do agree it is an abuse to our supporting vendors.

Some of our regulars do post links to their work on a blog or something so we can see a broader array of samples of a technique and this seems perfectly fair.

I do...

Roses on paper is closing their shop. They are offering a 45% discount on most of the site. I'm not sure how much is left, but here is the code for you to use: bye45off
