Hi scrollswork
That happened to me also, and it turned out I needed to be a member for 7 days & have a post count of 10. Theres alot of good info Amy posted in the forum news section. Click the RSC Icon on the top left, That will bring you to the bulletin board, Click the forum news link , then click the Forum limitations for new members thread. Check out some of the other threads also.. they should give you alot of info your looking for. ! Can't wait to see your art work !

My scans are way to big when I try to upload them. I did try to use the above mentioned program, but got a message from Norton saying the above site was not safe. Is there any other things I can do? Maybe I am not scanning them correctly???

When you scan them in you should be able to change your dpi in you scanner settings. The lower your dpi the smaller the image.

You could also email them to your self, most email services re size images automatically to make the total email size manageable.
