Most do but some like short cuts. It does become second nature when reading them until you're thrown one you've never seen before...like SAHM, that one threw me.

Default re the gobbledegook

The Kiwi here can barely understand simplish computor lingo without pigeon talk. I say...save most of the abbreviations for chitter chatter between like minded folk and do not ostracize probarbly the majority of fiends here by taking tooo many short cuts...its deadly annoying and I don't want to feel old

Don't worry, Kiwi. I for one will never use these kinds of abbreviations. I was lucky and hit the internet when it was just starting so I've grown out of the need to use them. However, I will still use emoticons when I can't convey the proper mood of a sentence in just words.

Its not that I am that old and grizzley, its just super annoying not being able to understand. Life is getting toooooo abbreviated and I believe the computor is also a tool to communicate, not abbreviate. Life is not always about moving quickly or cutting short...in the Kiwis humble opinion...now back to the stamping

Can I confess something? I sooooo hate the term "DH". The word "husband" isn't all that many more letters so why the hell do people need to shorten it? There, I feel better.
One of the few abbreviations I do use is BTW but other than that I type everything out...pretty much. I think I'm crabby.

Sorry if shortcut language confuses or offends anyone, I wouldn't want anyone to feel left out.

They do help someone who has carpel tunnel issues, however. Every keystroke saved is a blessing. I will go ahead and type everything out long hand instead though, I just may have to cut back.

I wouldn't worry about it Stacy. You do what works for you and others can do what works for them. You "cut back" and I'll have to pay you a little visit in TX .
