Default Album photos question

Amy,

I posted a photo to my album that is now oriented as a landscape and should be portrait. The original is portrait. Any hints?

Maximum Picture Dimensions 600 by 600 Pixels Pictures will be automatically resized to fit within these constraints if possible. However, you may receive better results by doing it manually.

Is your picture bigger than 600 x 600? If so, when the software is resizing it then it may also rotate it at the same time. I would need to see the original file to know.

I have added some of my cards to my album awhile ago and now I want to add some more. How many cards can you put in an album? I find no were it says add photos. I also see I added some cards twice and deleted them but it will only let me add 2 cards and it says the album is full. I do not understand. Can someone please help me? I created another album but it says no were to add photos. Also it says that some of my files are to big. How do I make them smaller???? Help!!!!
How would I know if my picture is bigger than 600 x 600?

If anyone is trying it upload pictures that came straight off a camera it will never happen. Those files are seriously HUGE. You need to optimize the photo in some kind of photo software like Photoshop or Elements. Make sure the dpi is 72, the dimensions are around 500 x500 and save using Save for Web to reduce the file size. Crop your photo down too so you don't have any extra space around your artwork that isn't needed. This is free software you can download to optimize photos:
http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/

Albums:
maximum dimensions for each photo: 600 x 600 pixels
maximum file size for each photo: 97kb
total maximum photos per User: 60
