Default Another Virt Con?

Amy,

When are we going to have another Virt Con???

Also, I loved the guest artist. I really learned a lot and appreciated everything Mary Jo shared with us. It would be great to have another guest artist.

May 14-18. I put it up on the calendar too. As far as a Guest Artist, I'm working on it. I asked one well known person in the community but they read and deleted my email without responding to me. I guess that was a "no" .

What about feature a company here?

Or possibly a series of "classrooms" (these could be videos that teach techniques on how to use a product or a tool- even links to UTUBE- how to use distress inks, how to use bleach for stamping, brayer techniques, etc). Then we could discuss the techniques and post stuff we make with that technique or even follow a card. On another site they sell class packages where a company designs a card and then teaches via a video how to make something (dimensional cards, valentines day cards, etc).

Hmmm...I see a job here in your future! Those are all fabulous ideas. I had been thinking of setting up our first sketch project for March (maybe April) with Beeswax hosting it. Then have a different company host it each month with a prize drawing for all that did the sketch. I love seeing a member throw some ideas out! Anyone else have some ideas?

I don't have a VirtCon group activity idea right now, but I did advertise the VirtCon on my blog & encourage folks to join RSC so they could come play here.

Do you know that you happened to pick the same weekend as the Puyallup show, Amy? :LOL My inky lil head will be spinning for sure come May.

I am looking forward to the Virt Con and future sketches and challenges and if different vendor members play along that is awesome and should be alot of fun!
What about a feature vendor of the month, or in the spotlight? We can learn about that vendor and what got them started in the Rubber stamping business whatever they would want to share with us about their line?
