I bought this box in a dollar store, basecoated it red, stamped the Asian writing with black ink and the dragonfly with gold. Sponged some gold paint around the sides, went outside and found a twig I liked, glued that on the box with pink paper flowers so it would look like a cherry blossom branch and then glued on the Asian embellishment.

I've also stamped on wood slatted baskets and wood plaques.

Gorgeous project, Kathy! TFS!

Chip wood boxes are wonderful to stamp on & yours is a great example!

Anyone ever stamp wood shingles?

Daniel- I love your creations! I just keep oohing and aahing on all the threads. I love the Santa puzzle. The Geisha girl is stunning.

Kathy, that is a wonderful box. Love the natural twig with your flowers.

If you look me up as a member, you can see pics in an album of some wood veneer projects. Don't know if they are all in my regular gallery or not.

Wood veneer man, on this site, used to sell it. I've also found wood veneer through McMahon 5 (I think) and Creative Imaginations may also still carry it in letter-size sheets.
