Here is another Distress Ink Background.

Pencil Resist:
First, thoroughly color your image with colored pencils.
Smear Distress Inks on a craft sheet or piece of plastic. Mist inks with water.
Press image face-down onto the watery-ink.
Let dry.
**It looks terrible when the paper is wet and you may wish you hadn't done this step after the coloring!!! But wait, there is hope.
When the paper has dried, carefully wipe the colored image with a slightly-damp cloth to remove the ink.

Jean Heady-Spahr's ATC for the May 2011 Technique ATC swap features the Distress Ink background. Another great ATC to add to my collection. Thanks, Jean.

BTW, if you would like to have some of these great ATCs, the Techniques swaps are open to everyone and you are welcome to join us.

Recently tried this and loved the results! Going to use it for backgrounds for a couple of get-well cards this afternoon.

Have been gently nagging DH to replace my printer so I can do that. Says it'll happen this weekend. We'll see, I guess.
