I had a rough idea how stamps were made and know why clear stamps aren't as good of an image as rubber....just wondered if they might be working on perfecting the process at some time in the furture so that they get better images.

I developed the graphics system that everyone uses now to make the photopolymer stamps. Additionally I have even operated the machines to make the actual stamps themselves.

Feel free to ask me anything you like - or set up a clear stamps questions thread and let me know about it.

I can explain the differences between rubber and photopolymer and the more affordable silicone clear stamps.

Thanks for the info, you will be a great resource!

This thread provides just the evidence for why this list is a place that I return to over and over. I love learning about stamps--how they're made, where to buy them, how to use them, what to do with the product, etc. Thank you to all who contribute to this community. Debra

Recently, I bought some stamps from a company over on Etsy called Burnt Cookie. They make a line of stamps called Rubber Romance. Robin said that she thought she had been at Conventions with you Amy and was interested in getting a banner here.

Did you ever hear from her, as I thought I pm'd you about her interest. Just curious. She has some adorable UM only red rubber stamps (no, Stampo, I am not trying to undersell you because Robin's line is very different from yours ).

She can contact me through RSC or email me through my website if she's interested.

I thought Rubber Romance was out of business. I would love to be able to buy their stamps again!
