swap rules

I haven't participated in a swap yet, but am warming up to it. I understand the difference between cards, ATCs, inchies and rinchies. I am also aware that the artist's name needs to be on the back. My question is what else is needed? E-mail address, stamps used, techniques? What about for inchies?

That would vary from swap to swap and would be a question for the swap host/hostess.

For me personally when I post in the gallery I always try to list the stamps I used and explain the technique to share with others... I do not list my e-mail unless requested to because anyone can PM me here at RSC if they are members and want to contact me. If you scan and post in your gallery you can add the details that may not fit on an inchie! I hope this helps!

I do much the same as Cindy. Swaps here are for members only so I do not include an email address either since members have in system private mail (pm).

When I hosted swaps I requested ATC's have:
Name of ATC & swap name
Your Name
Date
Numbering of ATC's, 1 of 6 ; 2 of 6 ; etc

I also suggested a basic stamp list with more detailed info in the members gallery but did not require it. Some of this would not apply or fit on smaller stamp art but works for most larger ones such as cards.

Each hostess has their own way of doing things. Usually they list "requirements" and anything you are unsure of you can ask about by posting the question in the thread or you can pm the hostess.
