Yes, Claudia's right... another list I'm on sent bunches of cards to Walter Reed and all were returned for "security reasons". This was just a few weeks ago.

Thanks to both of you. I had checked snoopes, and even in their archives, and couldn't find a thing about this. However, after going to some of the other sites I finally had time to google, I did see similar things being said.
Too bad 911 spoiled things like that. I know the servicemen and women appreciate things like this.
