Materials:
* 1 A5 sheet cardstock ( we used red )
* 3 A5 sheets off-white cardstock, 160 grams
* Cutting mat
* Craft knife
* Tombow or other brand markers (we used ‘spot-pens’)
* Gold colored gelly roller
* Waterbrush
* StazOn Jet Black
* Stazon cleaner
* Pencil
* Eraser
* Double stick tape
Stamps:
Rose from ‘Stamp Affair’ # x2244
Feather ‘Stempelmakers’ # bb033
Ornament ‘Stampers Anonymous’ # k3-715
Small heart lock ‘Lucy’s Stamps’ # sm 539ld
Car ‘Art Impressions’ # g-2545
Dress ‘PSX’ # g-3287.
Top hat and pumps ‘Stempelmakers’ # dd109
Dragonfly ‘Stempelmakers’ new collection de luxe stamps
Eyes ‘Limited Edition’ # 8002e.
Dream ‘Stamp-a-Dream’ English Text Sheet from Martie Sempels.
First, cut one red and two off-white sheets in half -A6 size ( 4 x off-white and 2 red). Now, from one red piece, cut a rectangle measuring 11,5 x 8,2 cm. centered in the sheet. Do the same from the other and red A6 , a rectangle of 10 x 7 cm. ( centered too). These will become your model.
Now measure from the other A5 off-white sheet two 9 x 10,5 cm. rectangles. Score both rectangles each 1,5 cm so that you’ll get 6 compartments. Now, using your models and a pencil, draw these squares once on an A6 off-white sheet of cardstock. You’ll end up having 2 A6 sheets with marked rectangles on them in two sizes.
Now first take your off-white A6 piece of paper ( the one with the largest rectangle cut out). Make a choice of what stamps to use and try them out before doing the actual stamping to see how they’ll look best. Then stamp all of them in StazOn Jet Black ink, making sure that the stamps will overlap the rectangle a little for the right effect.
Now use your cutting mat to cut out the lines along the stamped images so that you’ll get a great see-through window. Put the cut A6 on top of the other A6 ( with the smaller see-through window) to determine where to put the stamps on that one.
Make sure to stamp overlapping the rectangle a little. Cut along the stamped items again to make another see-through window.
Now stamp the back part of the card, pick out the correct centre stamp because it will show clearly through the windows. Place text stamps on all open spaces, I chose the word ‘Dream’. Then colour in the A6 sheets with light colours, use your Tombows or Spot pens. Use two to three shades and add some accents with a golden gel pen and a water brush.
Play with the stamped items, I made it pretty crowded and busy because I really think this is what it should look like on these cards/peep-shows. But then again you can make them exactly the way you want to and you’ll create your own effect. As long as you like it, it’s fine with me !
Now stick double-sided taped to the ends of the scored and folded rectangles and stick two strips of tape to the other side at the centre.
Adhere the centre A6 sheet to the side strips ( use the top view photo as a guide ). Then attach the front and back to it. This card will fit – folded- into a standard Dutch mail envelope.

Thanks Brigitta! I'll just look at your tunnel card that's posted in the gallery for reference.
There is a way to put pictures in, but Amy will probably have to help you with that. I don't have that mastered yet.

How about a new area/gallery here where we can post project directions w/photos (if we have them)? I see lots of requests for "how to" and having to email that info to umpteen people can take quite a bit of time.
Just a thought. :D

I can do that if you think it would be easier than putting a thread in the Tips and Tutorials section and using Imageshack or picture hosting on Photobucket. Do you think there is enough room in the comments section when you post a picture to put instructions in?

Good question! I've been able to put basic instructions in the gallery so far, but I know the directions I privately sent almouse for the box card I made her for the June swap wouldn't have fit in a gallery info box.
I guess we could stick with thread posted directions or post links to where the directions are already posted. (like the link for that nifty video on masking that was posted awhile back)
I guess I'm just as excited about RSC as everybody else & want to see it become BIG & even more WONDERFUL than the other rubber stamp boards. :D

Here is a link to her video:

Her website and blog have lots of how to info also. We are very lucky to have her as an RSC member. Even if you don't speak her language there is usually such great visuals that you can still learn how to do what she is showing you.
