I got an email from Roberta of RSM and I wanted to pass the info on to everyone here:

I want to let you know RSM is planning to publish a book about scenic stamping in 2008. (You may already know about this, I just want to make it official.)

We'll be including lots of artwork, along with information about how to create a scene with stamps. The book will be similar to the RubberStampMadness Album of Art, published in 2000. (Clearly time for another book!)

Would you please let your customers know they can turn in artwork for the book through November 1 (we decided to extend the deadline). We're asking for submissions on any theme, sized no larger than 8.5 x 11, four submissions per person. Details on submissions can be found at our website at http://rsmadness.com/submission.html

I'm glad to see they extended the deadline , now if I can just get brave enough to send something in:shock:

Anybody else going to send something in? Maybe we should send in our Popsicle creations with a notation they were a challenge here andget RSC a mention.

Go for it Stacy! Have fun picking some scenes to send, whether on popsicles or something else. :D

I sent in my submissions before they extended the deadline. First time I ever submitted anything to a magazine. I've been working on scenic stuff this year, so it just seemed like the time to jump in and submit something!

You're both braver than I am! I'm tempted, but not ready to commit myself to that kind of exposure yet. :noway:

Not so brave - just thought it was worth a try, and for once the theme was open enough that I felt I could send something. I was making scenes anyway, so why not? If you include a SASE they return your work, so you don't lose anything if you're not picked (other than a couple of postage stamps each way). And who knows, they might pick you... you'll never know unless you try!
