All the talk this weekend reminded me that I bought a package of Cut-n-Dry stamp pad foam a couple of years ago that I have never even opened,:noway:. Has anyone used it? Do you have any advice or tips on its use. The advice I got at the time I purchased it was to drop ink onto the squares and then store those in baggies between uses. I have always wondered if this wouldn't be messy when you try to take the foam out of the bag next time around.

Then I remembered the plastic pill organizer I got free a couple of weeks ago at a Woman's Fair, I'm thinking it could be used to store different colors of ink and then that could be kept in a bag in between uses, I'm not sure how air tight these plastic boxes are. If you store each square upside down, like a regular pad then grabbing it and using should be way less messy. I don't know about you but I make enough mess when I stamp without going out of my way to make more of them.

You could even take sticker paper and stamp each color on it as a reference and then attach this to the top of the container. Thinking it would be great for traveling too, what do y'all think?

I haven't used the cut n'dry pads either, but I think your idea for how to label & store them is brilliant!!! The pill boxes will keep pills and other small things contained & separate, but will not keep air out nor do the lids prevent liquids in one compartment from oozing into another compartment if the box gets tipped. (unless they are the individual screw on kind.) So a zip bag will help slow down the dehydration, but a plastic container (think tupperware) with air tight lid may be more stable.

Just my 2 cents! :D
