I still have a few friends from the now defunk SL message board that have not joined RSC :eyeroll: so I emailed them yesterday about the sale this weekend. One of them (Purnima) informed me I should get the "Enabler Alert Award" :D of the year or was that the century. :)). I think she is that much closer to joining us here:clap:

You are not enabling, Stacy! You are sharing the joy & wonder that is RSC. Your kind heart does not want any of your friends to miss out on the great practical info, entertaining discussions or delightful swaps that make RSC the best place in cyberspace for stampers to hang out. You also don't want stampers you know to miss out on the great show specials only available thru' the world's 1st virtual stamp convention sponsored by RSC.

You just keep sharing your love of stamping & RSC with everybody! :D

Keep this up & we'll all need hipboots here. :)) Sorry Amy, no thigh high leather lace ups for this type of hipboot. they might leak.

Hey! It sounded good until you got close enough to smell it. :p

Stacy, you can take my advice & spread it under your roses (or other fav garden plant) where it will do some good. :))

inky,
Having lived in corporate America, I developed a sensitive "nose" for the sniff. :)) :)) :)) Glad I live in a littler town now, less to sniff. ~C8>

Ohhhhhh brother...:eyeroll:

I'm starting to get the feeling that some of us have been staying up way too late staring at the computer screen the last couple of days shopping for new rubber.

:)) :)) :))

I figure if I'm still up when my son gets up for school, I've been up too late 'cause now it's dawn and officially tomorrow. The usual early am conversation goes like this:

"Mom, have you been up all night stamping again? Go to bed!"

"Yep! I couldn't sleep. Would you like me to make you breakfast?" (The last time I made my son's breakfast was when he was too little to nuke his own hot cereal in the microwave. )

"No Mom, just go to sleep!"

For this convention, I started shopping around 7:30 pm on Thursday. I didn't even try to go to sleep until 11 am Friday. Napped for 2 hours before heading back to the computer and finished up about maybe 5:30 pm on Friday. I did take several short breaks during this time for the usual. I have been checking in regularly all weekend to see what's up & if any more booths opened & I did order once on Saturday & once again today. DH was in AZ from noon Thursday until 2:30 in the wee am on Saturday. So I didn't have any reason to go to bed either night. Shopping was way too fun!!! I got to wear my jammies and I noticed the most amazing thing Friday night...my FEET didn't hurt! :)) No matter what shoes I wear to a convention, my dogs are so very tired and hurt so bad by the end of an 8 hour show that I wonder why I keep coming back. This isn't an issue with a virtual show, so I'm REALLY looking forward to the next one already. :D

LOL, now that is role reversal Jenna :))

The conversation with my husband us usually a little more vague:
Him "what time did you go to be last nite"
Me "oh I don't know, it wasn't that late"
Him " uh huh, what did you fall asleep watching tv or something"
Me "yeah something like that", if only he know how many times I'm crawling into bed just before he gets up around 3:30,

If I'm still up when DH gets up around 8 am, I get heckled unmercifully about it and he'll call home every hour or so just to make sure I don't take a nap and stay up the next night too. So like you Stacy, I crawl into bed before he wakes up & at least pretend to be asleep when his alarm goes off. Neither hubby nor son has my night owl stamina, they both fall over by 2 am at the latest. I can go all night & still function pretty well until about 5 pm the 2nd day. Of course my brain is pretty much mush from then until bed time. :))

I don't stay up like this as much as I use to as it really whacks me out energy wise for like a week after, not to mention distroying my ability to go to bed by a reasonable 2 am. :D

It must have caught up with me, I started falling asleep at the computer before 11pm last night. Gave up and was in bed by 11:30, quick somebody come check my pulse and see if I have a fever.:p

Looks like we're all going to need some recovery time after the convention! :D I didn't begin to keep up with you and Jenna, but I will admit that my mouse arm sure was sore after I went through most of the booths on Friday and Saturday! :))

Like just about everything else in life, Kate, the secret to being a strong night owl or a power shopper is practice, practice, practice. :D
