Does anyone own the Zutter Bind-it-All machine? If so, what is your opinion of it? Do you have trouble finding the wire coils for it?

If not the Bind-It-All, what other brands of binding machines are you using??

Goodness, I have a binder around here somewhere....it's how I did my catalog. I don't remember what brand it was but I do know that I got it at an Office Depot and could easily pick up the binding rings there any time. It was pretty easy to use too.

I have a Bind it all! It's ok.. Works for me.. I have a great supplier for coils. I just googled it. It's a lot cheaper to buy in bulk than it is to buy from Zutter!

Well, I just broke-down and bought a Bind-It-All yesterday, and should receive it by next week. But, YIKES!! The coils are pricey.:(

What is your online source for bulk coils, Vicki? I don't envision using it all that much, so I hate to stock up on multiple 10-packs of each size I may need. Can coils be bought in assortment packs by any chance?

ummm... I don't think they have multi assortments... But they are cheap cheap and the same quality as Zutter's.. When looking for coils remember that you need 2:1 coils not 3:1 That means there's 2 coils per inch.

Here's the link I have book marked:
http://www.bindingmachine.com/Product_Details.asp?ProductID=6424&GUID=64E42CCB92D247B0A6D827F231F4DDD5

They offer very competitive pricing, shipping and very fast service!

If anyone needs the 5/16" coils, I have a box of almost 100 of them that I don't need. These are very small. Good for calendars and such. I even have a pack of 1000 calendar holders.

The sizes that are handy to keep in stock are 1/2" and 5/8" anything larger than that, you'll have to go to another vendor because this one doesn't carry the larger.

I own the Bind-it-All but I need to look up some tips on using it. I used it to "fix" one of the board books that my baby had that kept losing its cover. Decided to punch the cover and all the pages. That part went fine, yep even thru those thick pages. But the coil didn't crimp up so well. I figured it was going to get tossed if not fixed, so a failed experiment was still good.

What's a calendar holder?

Isn't a calendar holder one of those frame thingees that holds a calendar?

More specifically, it frames it, and holds open the pages so they do not curl...keep the pages nice and flat, while looking stylish at the same time...

I have the Bind-It-All, Rolla Bind, and a Rubicoil. I love them all for different reasons. The rollabind is bound with lil disks. The rubicoil is spiral wires and the bind it all are o-wires. I probably use my rubicoil or BIA the most. I like the BIA because it is compact and doesn't take up half my table.

I would love to get the Bind-It-All. I have a bunch of friends who have it and just love it. I know I would get a lot of use out of to use it for calendars and such..
