This can be dragons, unicorns, fairies, ect...

Hum, I always thought fairies were people but if they are included then I

I'm FINALLY starting my job on Monday and I have some vacation scheduled,

I'll tell Heirloom that! :laugh: Unfortunately the January Grapevine show has limited space and more vendors want to do it than they can fit in. They draw names. I think I didn't get in once so far.

I wish Hierloom would make an effort to mix old & new vendors a bit more. The 2-time regulars can't possibly produce new stuff in only a few months, and new vendors items would be all new to us. Some vendors - like Beeswax - have too many images to get at once so they're always welcome!

Sorry if this information is available somewhere I haven't looked yet, but where do I get the addresses and other info for the swap? Deadline, number of cards, etc?

Or am I just rushing things?

I am sorry, I can't do more than two cards for this swap. If the rest of you would rather do a bigger swap (each making more than two cards) then I am willing to bow out, it's no problem. I have quite limited stamping time available to me, sorry.

I just started making my swaps for the SU! regional meeting in my area this Oct. I'm making 102 card fronts for trading this year, so doing 6 of one card doesn't seem too scary to me right now. :))

If we stay with the swap list above will I be sending one of my 2 cards to Alsmouse or piecesandpom? The 2nd card goes to Taniwolf, I got that part. Call my ditzy, but I always forget which column is what. :blush:

For those of us who are interested in doing more than two, we send to all but those who want to only do the 2, then they send them to their "partner". No ones left out and we can all still play? It will be a surprise in their box either way. I'd hate to see anyone drop out of a swap for that. I'm so totally impressed by what is posted on the gallery. I just love seeing new ideas & techniques. You [U]ALL[U] are so talented, I feel like a beginner. :o

I will be getting mine out just under the deadline. It's been a pretty frantic couple of weeks for me. I'd say it is definitely the Dog Days of Summer, but that's another swap.:evil:

You may need to click the submit button at the bottom of the que screen to finish the loading. The que gives you one more chance to edit before posting. Also, if you're loading more than one image at a time, I recommend submitting each image fully before adding the next one to the que. For some odd reason, everytime I've tried filling the que then submitting, the titles and info for all the images changes to the title & info for the most recently added image and I have to go back & retype everything. Go figure! :confusion:

P.S. I got my cards in the mail today!!! I'm slow, but not late. :lol:

I'm a worse slug than Inky Whiskers. One card is done; couldn't get it out
to the mailbox today due to puppy/work issues.

I finally have the two stamped, two rejects, and have yet to spiff them
up. . .I hope with youngest finally home from her 2nd vacation to get
them to the post office tonight so they will be picked up and sent on their
way first thing tomorrow!

I only pulled mine together in time because DH went out with friends Sat. night & I got several uninterupted hours to stamp & color. If he'd stayed home, my cards would have been late for sure! :lol:

PiecesandPom, I know EXACTLY what you mean when you talk about "puppy issues". :eyeroll: Between that and card issues, my exchange is getting mailed today. A day late. :angry:

It's the first time I've used this stamp and it gave me a lot of problems. I saw it at Grapevine last month and it seemed perfect for this swap. Oh well, that's one of the things that makes it interesting.;)

Card from ArtKar arrived this week! Thanks, Karlene! It's a neat embossed dragon on the front, and inside is really cool paper with a dragon design and the great quote: "Don't mess with dragons... for thou art crunchy and good with ketchup." Love it! Do you know where that quote is from? I'm wondering about Tolkien, but not sure. Would you like me to post it in the gallery?

I think the quote is from Monty Python. I've heard it for years, but went to see Spamalot (based on Monty Python) last month and when they said it, it clicked a memory of Monty Python's Holy Grail with the saying.
