Pocket card, like a pocket door?

I'm trying to make my Fat Card background into a faux Shoji screen. At first, I thought making it into a slider card would work, but I have to keep the dimensions 4.5 x 4 inches. :eyeroll:

Any ideas of suggestions on how to make a pocket card? I will be using a cereal box (the type Costco sells) as my base. I'm a bit stuck on how to glue the base together so that the pocket part doesn't get hung up. :cry:

That's okay. I finally got my Fat Card completed - now I just have to sign it.

I'm going to try to make a "pocket" type of card for the "rockies" FC swap. This is an idea i got from a card, and it pulls up not out. Guess you will see it if I can make the idea work for a fat card. I haven't started putting that one together yet.

It will work, it just takes some extra effort. Have you gone over to the Japanese Festival Fat Card swap that I held? That has pics of my finished card.
