We've all seen if not tried to get a polka dot background by inking up bubble wrap. Kinda messy though right?

Then I came up with the idea of cutting a piece to fit my brayer and attach it using double sided tape. Now I can roll it over my ink pad and then onto my paper. This example has other techniques too but you get the idea. Used two different colors of polka dots.

Depending on the ink you use, just run it under some water to rinse or if it gets too inked up and you can't get it clean, just cut another piece.

btw, I have an old Fiskar 6" brayer with interchangeable rubber things(?), so I tape my bubble wrap to my snowflake one. Don't expect to need it anytime soon and this way I can leave the bwrap on it so it's ready to go when needed for a while. Then again with repositionable tape, it's easy to take off and on anyway.
