View Full Version : best paper for copics? HolleyTX 08-25-2009, 08:35 PM What's the best paper for copic markers? I am just getting started in this area. Usually I like to watercolor, but the paper I use is clearly too absorbent for copics. what BRAND paper should I get? If you check out their designer blogs the art with copics looks terrific. I'm currently using Neenah Solar Crest 80 lb. white and that works pretty well, too. HolleyTX 08-30-2009, 11:00 PM Thanks for the suggestions. I went and bought some of the Neenah paper (80lb solar white) and we'll see how that goes. It is much smoother than what I usually use. (Of course I am usually watercoloring, so I need the texture). I find it a dream to work with. I would love to try all the others mentioned, but it's not easy to source them in the U.K. In fact I feel sure we don't have them here at all! One of the things Marrianne (ilikemarkers) told us when I took her class was to not use a coated paper as it would change the brush on the copics.
