cards that fold out

Does anyone have some good instructions for those cards you make from a long piece of card stock and then fold out - I dont even know what they are called...it looks like the base card stock is almost 20 inches long..

Are you looking for an accordian folded card with staggered edges, like at an inch and then three quarters of an inch to help open it but still keep stamping room on each side of the folds? I'd try a google search or go to splitcoaststampers.com or is it .net/

not exactly - the one I saw may accordian fold, but all the folds are the same size..maybe its not accordian fold, but just back and forth or something...

Are you talking about a fan fold, except much wider folds so that you get a card or booklet?

If this is what you want just cut paper into 2 long strips that then fold those into fourths then glue the last and first pages together to make it longer. You can glue together as many strips as you want until you reach the length or number of pages you desire.

Thanks everyone - I found some instructions at Eastcoast and made a really nifty retirement card for a friends....now i have to find directions for one I saw where the two fold outs intertwined...
