I love Christmas, too! I've only hosted another Christmas inchie swap last year with another rubberstamping group I've been with for many years! It was a lot of fun, so now I'd like to swap with some new artists. I've hosted swaps for many years and love to make inchies! Any medium as long as it's for Christmas. Here are some ideas: Retro or Vintage, Favorite Christmas Songs, Reason for the Season, and of course all the other things we love about Christmas and winter time.

9/9 Due no later than December 1st, so they will get back to you in plenty of time for Christmas! Please send SASE with at least .62 postage. Overseas welcome! I will pay for postage and envelope if you send ephemera/goodies in exchange. Please allow plenty of time for mailing.

Just like in my other swap...take 2 spots as long as you follow these standards: no more than 3 of one design and the second set different than the first. That way hoping I don't have to send any back to you.

Please put your name on the back of your inchies! That way I don't accidentally give your own back. I'll PM you with my snail address when you sign up if you don't have it already. :)

I swap out quickly, so PLEASE be sure your inchies are here on time! :)

I'm SO glad you ladies have worked this out!!! There's plenty of room for all here at RSC. Granted, some months there may be some folks who have to limit their swapping due to time restrictions in their daily lives, but offering us choices is always a good thing! :D

Here the site I found with the best prices for inchie storage pages. They're made to store collector coins, but they work just dandy fine for our inchies! You want to get the 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" 30 pocket style at the bottom of the list & if you have a friend or 2 who also do inchies, you can order in bulk & save some $.

I originally bought mine from a stamp company that specializes in inchies, but their pages are 5 for $9.95 and this other company only charges $.60 each for less than 25 pages ordered & you can order in bulk to save and they're offering the SAME brand of pages. Go figure. :D

Hello my name is Deb aka CraftyRN1959, I would love to start trading cards. I do not understand your inches concept here and what you are doing it with them? I would assume it is an inch size trading card. Can you help me out here? Thank you very much.

Hi Deb,

Sure! An inchie is a 1" square or 1" circle..lots of people use their 1" punches for these, but you can cut your own squares. I know for some people this seems small, but they are sooo much fun once you get started! I'll send more info to you in a PM.

For me, it's usually my muse that starts screaming at me when she wants something & I'm not paying attention. The last time was my Feb tags. I had them all stamped & almost ready to mail when she started screaming "BLING!!! They need BLING!!!" So I stuck lil crystals in the centers of all the flowers to make her happy & shut her up. :))

Been quiet here lately which means hope you all are still playing! and stamping! We've been busy beavers here. I went out of town for a few days celebrating our 27th anniversary with hubby, then DD's 21st birthday and all the other life stuff going on. Inbetween I have been creating Halloween inchies! Yeppers, school starts here Tuesday..I'm exhausted and I don't have any kids in school! DD is in college, but she's responsible for getting all the red tape done. hehe Just a very busy summer! This time of year is busy anyway as we ususally take a few days vacation and all my kid's and DH's birthdays start in August and end in October..then follow are the holidays! whew! The weather is cooling a bit and fall is in the air and hoping life will slowwww down a bit.

Hello! Just checking in to say hello to all of you! I had to stop my inchie making for a bit to make a cool RR art journal I am in for another group. Now I can get back to my inchies! Have a lot of ideas swimming around in my head so I am anxious to see all of your Halloween art work rolling in soon. :) And heard we have an inchie virgin, so I'm excited to see her first artwork...woo hoo! Also, would you please keep my family in your prayers? One of my cousins and her DH is from Kemah, TX and she lost her home from hurricane Ike..so sad. My family is all over southern; east and west TX. We are still waiting to hear from other family, but we think they are safe! Alot of them are in west TX where they lost power, but not a drop of rain or wind. Thank God for generators and natural gas and gasoline! Thoughts being sent out for all affected by Ike. I hope all are safe. It always saddens me to see so much destruction.
Booner, How are you doing with the 2 fires in the mtns? Are you being effected at all? The Valley has a strange hazy sky & it is not from the fires. Everything has a strange orange glow & they aren't even doing field burn or discing. ~C8>

Hi C8 and Cathy. Thank you for your kind words. My sister has talked with my cousin and they are doing well. My sister and DH are from Austin, but are on assignment in PA. BIL is home right now helping where he can for the next week until he returns to work. As for the fires, the only way we are affected is the poor air quality. It's like the worst smog ever. My eyes are burning! ugh. The firefighters have contained the fire, but cannot put it out..too rugged countryside to get to the flames, but I don't think any homes have burnt. Thank God! We did lose 3 young firefighters this year. It's been a sad year for natural disaster both here and in my home of TX. Just hope for the best.

"inchies are just that : 1" x 1" squares that you alter, color, paint, stamp or do what ever you want to do to that one inch square to decorate it..
Just like if you were doing a ATC only smaller and fun."

Bonnie, my Halloween and Christmas Inchies will go into today's mail. I do hope they're alright. I'm not used to working in such a small area. I used my Tapestry stamps as they are small and pretty.

Hi Darci,

Your inchies arrived yesterday along with one other person's and then today I got the last swap. (for Halloween)Anyhoo, it was postmarked either the 16th or 18th, can't quite make it out. One time I put an envelope to be mailed in a USPS "blue box" in a parking lot with a bunch of stores. The envy was postmarked for six days later! I always take mine inside the post office to drop them off now.

You ladies will love these inchies! You all did a wonderful job on these! :clap:

I finished mine over the weekend and I can see the progression of how my inches evolved with each set I took on. Sorry everyone has to suffer my learning curve:o Oh my but they are fun!

My Inchies went postal today and I am sure I over stressed the mailing out of them so they are like tucked in armor...lol but being my first mailing of inchies I was overy careful. I have know idea how well they mail and took no chances. Over kill is my middle name...
