I have a container of Yes glue that I used to use quite extensively, but haven't used in quite some time. This sucker is several years old and had been unopened for at least a year or two. So I went to use it again, and it was really, really difficult to get some out. There was also a crack in the glue going down the diameter of the container.
Can Yes actually get too old to be of any use? Can it be revitalized in some way?

I stir in a little water to reconstitute it. I start working with a little blob on a CD and mix up until it is back to a usable consistency. My glue is about 5 years old and I just keep bringing it back. I did have to clamp it in our bench vise once and open it with an oil filter wrench...

 Another use for hubby's tools  . Nobody should ever accuse a crafter/artist of not being resourceful. How is this glue different from using gel medium I wonder?
